I support Heather because I believe that she is the voice that Edina needs. As a student at Edina High School who comes from a low-income household, I often feel like an outsider among my peers.
Serving on CASA Minnesota Board of Directors with Heather is a pleasure. She is a hard worker, jumping into projects with her energy and working to complete any tasks that our organization have.
Heather is a genuine leader in our community. She is principled, experienced, and a hard worker. I trust her judgement and admire her conviction. She will be an outstanding representative of our interests at the Capitol.
Being a principal for over 20 years, I know how important it is to have a voice in the State Legislature that supports our schools, educators, and students. For that reason, I am proud to support Heather Edelson for State Representative.
I don’t think I’ve seen anyone with as much dedication to her future constituents as Heather Edelson. She’s the type of person that listens to every word of a conversation, no matter how trivial, and takes action.
I began to get involved in local politics when I was in high school. Heather was the first politician who made an actual effort to engage me in the process, going out of her way to set up a meeting with me.
As a product of the Edina Public Schools, a candidate’s support of teachers and students alike is extremely important to me. Heather has proven that she will advocate for our educators’ rights to foster critical thinking and to make affordable education accessible to all.
I first met Heather during the 2016 campaign and immediately became a supporter based on her policies and energy. In the middle of the pre-convention chaos, my mother went into hospice. I didn't know Heather well, but she spent a couple hours with me when I really needed the company.
Heather has my support because she is a passionate candidate who supports quality education, sensible gun reform, and small businesses. As a senior in high school I have gone through feeling unsafe at my school and I appreciate legislators recognizing this issue.
